My method of work

New ideas always crystallize out of discoveries: a wheel, a drawer, an aphorism, an object that speaks to me, invites me.
Sometimes things happens at first sight, sometimes however, not until years of storage have passed.
Occasionally it´s the objects that get approached by me.
However, at some point, it comes about that we not only listen to each other, but I also know how it is going to work.
Then the “composing” begins. My works play with the requirement “useful object”. I can´t answer why I impose these restrictions on myself. Maybe it has something to do with my background and influences: usefulness, usability is in my blood.
Yet at the same time rebellion appeals to me.
