PETER HEEL

Apparently the in between fascinates me, the border, the border line. The line between freedom and usability, which in reality is a big area beyond the norm, beyond the familiar pattern of thought.
We know a sculpture just as well as we know a piece of furniture. However the rebel in me shakes the foundation, he looks for the irritation, appeals to freedom and anarchy. The down-to-earth side of me accompanies him and obligates him to search for shape and aesthetics.
This is how expression originates.
This restricting corset of usability gets an area of friction, on which the character can be strengthened and where the style can develop.

Now the composing can take place. The basic subject-matter is decided on quickly: a cupboard, a chair, a bed, a love story, the farewell to the German Mark.
